Mogfest 24 - bookings open
12th November 2023Mogfest 24, the Club’s main annual event will take place at venues in Shropshire between 26th and 28th July 2024.
The weekend programme starts on Friday evening with an informal BBQ and entertainment at Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron. Located within the heart of the Ironbridge valley of invention this UNESCO World Heritage site is just a short drive from the event’s base hotel.
Set within attractive surroundings the modern 4-star Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort offers a range of leisure facilities and a relaxing environment with stunning views of the Severn Valley countryside.
Weston Park, less than 30mins drive away, is a remarkable house and art collection set in 1.000 acres of Capability Brown parkland which is our location for Saturday’s activities scheduled to include Autotest, Concours, Register Displays, Spares Fair and Trade Stands. Please note that only advance booking through MSCC Travel Club will allow access to the special Mogfest parking area.
Saturday’s programme will conclude with the Annual Dinner plus entertainment at the Telford hotel.
On Sunday there is an opportunity to step back in time and travel in a reserved coach on the Severn Valley Railway. Enjoy an unforgettable journey through 16 miles of inspiring countryside. Freedom of the line tickets will allow stopping off at intermediate stations on the return journey, giving time to explore more including the Engine House Visitor Centre with an impressive collection of locomotives.
As several of the programme options this year sold out at an early stage members are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Booking opened on 2nd October and an Early Bird Discount is available on official packages up to 8th December.
